One Stop Breton Shop
For those of you who are following me on Instagram, you will already be aware that a Breton top is my go to item in my wardrobe. I have them in every colour and for any occasion. I wear them both casually at the weekend and with pencil skirts in the office. Still somehow I find excuses to continue to add to my collection. I have pulled together a few of my favourite from this season. It's a bit of a one stop shop for stripes!
If you're looking for a classic no fuss Breton top then there are so many great pieces out there at the moment. I've picked out just a few on my wish list. 1.Joules Striped Harbour Jersey Tops, I have so many of these in my wardrobe. Joules have created a great basic Breton here and it's available in all sorts of colours. I love the thickness of this top. 2. J.Crew Boat Neck Shirt, I love the bright pink colour of this one. I would style this with my navy pencil skirts for work or dress it down with jeans and a pretty silk scarf at the weekends. 3. Fat Face Stripe Crew Neck Sweat Top. This is a bit thicker than my usual Breton tops, more a jumper than a base layer. I'm loving the teal colour, it's going to look great with white jeans and some comfy pumps for a lazy summer evening at the pub. 4.R EDITION Breton Top. I adore this top and am definitely going to be adding this to my wardrobe. It's a great example of how a classic striped top can actually be quite dressy. This is perfect for the office and nights out. It's incredibly well priced as well! 5. Jack Wills Kempton Breton Striped Dress. This is such a lovely dress, I can imagine myself wearing this in the summer, dressing it down with little pumps and a cardigan, or for a night out I would pair this with a statement necklace and maybe navy or red court shoes. 6. Joules Blue Stripe Harbour Block Jersey Top. Another classic Breton from Joules. I picked this one to share with you because I love the colour combination and these tops are just fantastic quality.
I find myself more and more often now picking out these jazzier options. I love the fun take on a classic piece. 7. Boden Glitter Spot Breton. This top is just lovely, a really subtle glitter spot on a very classic looking Breton Top. 8. Superdry Conversational Breton Top with stars. I think this is another that I need to add to my collection. As the name suggests, it's a top that going to get people talking. 9. Only Striped Sweatshirt with Heart Pocket. I actually already have this top. I get so many compliments when I wear it. I usually team it with white jeans and some comfy driving shoes. 9. Superdry Conversational Breton Top with palm trees. There's such hype about palm leaves and trees at the moment. This top is going to look great with black skinny jeans. 10. Joules Antique Gold Strip Caroline Sweater. This top is one of my absolute favourites out there at the moment. I love the zip detail on the back and the longer length. 11. Joules Bee Print Harbour Top. I bought this top with gold bees late last year. Absolutely loving the shorter sleeved silver bee version.
