This is another fine example of a British brand which can really bridge the town and country divide. The founding collection from Morris Richardson, comprises of stunningly classic faces and simple Harris tweed and leather interchangeable straps, meaning this really can be a watch for any occasion. I was so lucky to be sent the gorgeous Belton strap with rose gold face, it's a jolly festive red Harris tweed and completely perfect to mix in with my winter wardrobe. The colour makes it a fun addition to an outfit, but the high quality leather backing and sleek rose gold face give a real sense of luxury and quality.

The thing which I love most about these watches are the changeable straps, the red Belton strap is perfect for the festive season, but when spring comes around I intend to buy a slightly lighter tweed, and when summer comes around the pretty pink Belvoir strap is going to be just perfect!

Where did it all start?

Morris Richardson was initially born out of a personal frustration of not being able to find a high quality, fashionable yet timeless watch that I could wear for a range of different occasions, whether that be a day at the races, an afternoon at a country show or a more formal black-tie event. It was this realisation that ultimately sparked the idea of creating Morris Richardson as a lifestyle watch brand.

As an individual who has always been inspired by quintessential British style I was passionate to incorporate this into the brand, both in terms of the design of each Morris Richardson watch and also with regards to the materials utilised.

I thus set out on the exciting 18-month journey of creating Morris Richardson as a British lifestyle watch brand and bringing Morris Richardson’s founding collections to life.

Who has been your biggest influence?

As a lover of all things timeless I have always been drawn to lifestyle brands such as Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger. Their positioning as aspirational yet accessible lifestyle brands heavily influenced the Morris Richardson brand with a focus on offering high quality, fashionable watches that could ultimately be the perfect watch for every occasion.

What's your favourite product and why?

I love the complete range of Morris Richardson watches adorned with our unique Harris Tweed watch straps but if I had to choose a particular favourite it would have to be the Badminton 40mm classic watch. The royal blue Harris Tweed strap against both our silver and rose gold watches works so well and the colour is perfect for both a casual and more formal occasion.

Your favourite moment in the Morris Richardson story so far?

It definitely has to be receiving a call from both GQ magazine and Tatler who absolutely loved our founding watch collection and were passionate to feature them in their upcoming campaigns. Our first feature in GQ is this month (released 8th December) and Tatler is very soon to follow at the start of next year.

If you had to pick a motto for your company what would it be?

Infuse your life with action. Don't wait for it to happen. Make it happen. Make your own future.

This motto really underpins the ethos of Morris Richardson. It is all about thoroughly enjoying life, having fun, following your passion and being zealous as a team.

What can we expect in the future?

As a British lifestyle watch brand our focus is definitely on the country market. We have a number of exciting events lined up for 2018 and will be attending a number of the country shows throughout the season. You will thus no doubt start to see a lot more of the very friendly, sociable Morris Richardson team!
